Dr. Jared S. DiLorenzo received his bachelor’s degree from Quinnipiac University while playing Division I soccer. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2007 from New York Chiropractic College, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and Connecticut Chiropractic Association.
Dr. DiLorenzo has post graduate education in functional soft tissue therapy and nutrition, which effectively reduces recovery time and enhances athletic performance. He is a certified provider of Cox flexion-distraction and formerly certified in Active Release Technique (ART). Dr. DiLorenzo has also done additional training in the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM). The Fascial Distortion Model is a method of identifying the source of pain or injury by tuning in to the patient’s description of their symptoms. Fascial distortions are corrected with hands-on deep pressure application with measurable, dramatic results. This will help to improve optimal performance while decreasing recovery/rehabilitation time.
Dr. DiLorenzo has worked with a variety of patients such as athletes on the high school and professional level (such as the Danbury Whalers/Hat Tricks), and pregnant women and children. He has lectured on topics including stress management, low back safety and injury prevention, nutrition, and putting an end to chronic headaches.
Dr. DiLorenzo has also been involved in gathering data for a research study on Post-operative patients using the Cox Flexion distraction chiropractic decompression technique. He lives locally with his wife Jennifer and enjoys exercising, playing soccer, and spending time with his triplets Jared, Ariella, and Gemma.
