Rules for Payment
At Danbury Parking Authority garages, you must Park & Pay Immediately. You have a 15-minute grace period to pay at the kiosks or via mobile app once you have entered the facility. The kiosks accept credit/ debit, mobile app and bills. No change is given, so please use exact amount or card/app payments.
The Danbury Parking Authority utilizes License Plate Recognition technology. The vehicle plate entered at the kiosk or on the app must be accurate.

About THE danbury Parking Authority
An autonomous, quasi-municipal agency established by a special State Statute in 1957, the Danbury Parking Authority receives no funding from the City of Danbury. User fees from parking permits, meters, garage fees and violations generate operating revenue.
A five-member Board, appointed by the Mayor of Danbury, oversees the authority. The Board meets monthly to review financial statements and conduct new business. Day to day operations are the responsibility of the Director, who reports to the Board.
